Frome in Somerset is a town based around the River Frome and at the eastern end of the Mendip Hills. Frome is located 13 miles south of Bath and 12 miles east of Shepton Mallet. Regular public transport is available from the railway station and bus station.
The Frome town centre has plenty of independent shops and chain stores to suite all the residents' needs. With 2 large supermarkets at either end of the town and 3 smaller chains in the town itself. Markets are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the town centre. There are also many of local businesses listed on this site and offering almost every conceivable service to residents.
All the main public services are available locally with a great number of community activities, clubs and organisations for all age groups.
